
Early-career researchers presenting their work at the  in Lisbon, Portugal, 9–14 July 2022, may be eligible to apply for a Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ bursary to support participation.
Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ bursaries aim to help PhD students and postdocs from outside the host country participate in a Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ Congress when submitting an abstract to the event as first author. For the IUBMB–Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€“PABMB Congress, Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ bursaries will cover the ‘Young scientist’ early bird registration fee, and make a €400 contribution towards travel/accommodation.

Note that 2022 Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ bursaries are for early-career Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ members studying or working in a Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ country. A ‘Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ member’ is a member of one of the national biochemical and molecular biology societies that make up Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ (its ‘Constituent Societies’); a ‘Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ country’ is a country where there is a Âé¶¹¶ÌÊÓÆµ Constituent Society.
