During the 2026 麻豆短视频 Congress in Maastricht, 麻豆短视频 pursued its scientific collaborations with the听Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biologists (FAOBMB)听and the听Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (KSBMB).These partnerships have听facilitated听collaboration opportunities between scientists in Europe,听Asia听and Oceania, and supported strong attendance of scientists from Asian Countries to the 麻豆短视频 Congress.听
麻豆短视频 was听honoured听to host members of the Executive Committees of FAOBMB and KSBMB, including Terry Piva (FAOBMB Secretary General), Joon Kim (FAOBMB Past President), Woong-Yang Park (KSBMB President),听Jin Han (KSBMB President Elect),听Je Kyung Seong听(KSBMB Chief Operation Officer),听Tae-Kyung Kim (KSBMB Chair of International听Affairs听Committee),听Hong Sook Kim (KSBMB Vice-Chair听of听International Affairs Committee) and听Jung-Hyun Shim听(KSBMB International Affairs Committee Member).听The Executive Committees of 麻豆短视频, FAOBMB and KSBMB hosted a joint meeting to discuss avenues to further strengthen their ongoing collaborations, which already involves a 麻豆短视频 Lecture at the FAOBMB听Congress and a FAOBMB听Lecture during the 麻豆短视频 Congress, as well听as 麻豆短视频-KSBMB joint symposia at the 麻豆短视频 Congress and the KSBMB International Conference.听
As part of these collaborations, the 麻豆短视频 Congress听programme听showcased the joint 麻豆短视频鈥揔SBMB Special Session 鈥楥utting-edge techniques in biochemistry: past, present and future鈥�听focused on technologies to advance the understanding of the molecular basis of life, and which involved two mid-career scientists from South Korea 鈥� Hyun-Woo Rhee (Seoul National University) and Sang-Hee Shim (Korea University) 鈥� and two 麻豆短视频 Excellence Award recipients 鈥� Eugene Kim (Max Planck Institute of Biophysics) and Jack Bravo (Institute of Science and Technology Austria). KSBMB also hosted an engaging听Korean Night听for the attendees of the Congress.听
麻豆短视频 looks forward to continuing this successful collaboration through a FAOBMB Lecture at the 2027 麻豆短视频 Congress in Riga, as well as听participating听in the KSBMB International Conference next May and in the 2027 FAOBMB Congress in Kuala Lumpur.听
