Irene Díaz-Moreno elected to the EMBO Membership

Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ congratulates Professor Irene Díaz-Moreno on her election to the EMBO Membership, recognising her outstanding contributions to the life sciences. Professor Díaz-Moreno serves on the Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Executive Committee and chairs the Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Excellence Awards and Fellowships Committee.

Applications now open for the 2026 Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Excellence Awards

The Â鶹¶ÌÊÓƵ Excellence Awards are designed to support innovative research projects in the molecular life sciences and to help outstanding researchers establish and strengthen their independent research programmes. The scheme provides €100,000 over three years to support outstanding early-career group leaders in the molecular life sciences. Eligible researchers can apply until 15 August 2026.
